It's there

Isn't there a black pit in your stomach?
Come on, don't you feel it you idiot!
It's there, right there at the bottom most pit of the stomach.

I feel it growing sometimes you know
Not like a very physical growth-
more like a balloon inflating
till I'm a big blob of black and then

phussssss

It disappears into a tiny vestibule,
hibernating
with a big fat eye,
looking out for its next instance of greatness.
