I recently came across an interesting book that i proceeded to lap up in two days. Couldn't put it down. Its a book called 'Ritual in the Dark' by Colin Williams. I love coming across books by chance and then finding that they are really interesting!

So here goes! My first blog post... Well I've been meaning to start a blog for some time but it never seemed to materialize, firstly because of pure laziness, and secondly because of a false sense of modesty; "Oh what can I write about that could be of much interest!" and all that.
Well I believe that most people have this potential of having amazing stories to tell. After all it's everyday things in peoples lives that make for great reading.
For instance, I find that there's comedy in everyday life. Just look around you and you'll find so many things to laugh about. The other day I was sitting on a varandah overlooking a lush green hillside, lost in thought. I saw these two sparrows arguing loudly amongst themselves on top of a tree branch. One of them seemed to be exceptionally irritated with the other and would not stop berating it. The second, more quiet sparrow pertly flew and sat at the end of a long glade of grass. the blade of grass drooped just slightly while our sparrow made itself comfortable. Of course our angry sparrow could not bare to see this one so comfy, so down it flew and perched itself on the same blade of grass. And sure enough, the blade drooped lower and lower down till the surprised sparrows were touching the ground. they both flew off making quite a racket.
I had once seen a similar pixar animation that was really funny.
